MEET KAYLA

I’m Kayla—a bodyworker, birthworker, space-holder, mother, and guide walking with women, mothers, and caregivers through life’s most profound thresholds.

For the past 17 years, I’ve worked with the body as a site of wisdom, healing, and transformation. My journey began in massage therapy, but over time, it deepened into something much more layered: a calling to tend to the spaces where the physical, emotional, ancestral, and spiritual intersect. With over a decade of experience as a doula, and a lifetime of remembering what it means to live in rhythm with the Earth, I offer a kind of care that honors not just the individual—but the lineages and lands we come from, and the futures we are shaping through every act of love and resistance.

My approach weaves together earth-based spirituality, animist traditions, and somatic awareness. I draw from my studies in birth, pelvic anatomy, myriad massage techniques, herbalism, astrology, German New Medicine, and traditional systems of healing. But more than anything, I listen—to your body, to your story, to the places where your vitality is asking to be reclaimed.

I support women and mothers through transitional life phases—from preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and matrescence, to miscarriage, herbal pregnancy prevention, and menopause. Whether I’m offering in-home massage and bodywork, doula support, or virtual 1:1 mentorship, my work is grounded in the belief that care work is sacred work. This belief is not metaphorical—it is cultural, spiritual, and political. In a world that undervalues the labor of mothering and care, I am here to help you remember that your becoming is worthy of reverence.

I believe that healing is not about fixing what is broken—it is about returning to relationship. Relationship with your body. With your emotions. With your ancestors. With the land beneath your feet. With the children you raise and the worlds they will inherit.

We live in a time of great unraveling, but also great remembering. My work exists in that liminal space—helping women reweave the threads of connection that capitalism, colonization, and disembodiment have tried to sever. You are not alone. Your body carries wisdom. Your story carries power. And the care you give—to yourself, to your family, to the Earth—is a vital force of change.

Cycles of Becoming is the container I’ve created to hold this work. You are invited to explore, to reach out, and to step into your next becoming—resourced, supported, and deeply seen.
